Ana was a wonderful doula and lactation consultant. Birth is not a sickness that requires interventions; however many interventions have become “normal” but not always needed. Working with Ana, we created a birth plan and went step-by-step discussing every intervention that could possibly be thrown my way during labor, deciding how my husband and I wanted to address each intervention and if it was truly necessary.

Thanks to Ana, I was empowered to have the birth that I wanted. Unmedicated and completely in control of everything that was happening. Fear is a common emotion women have when going into labor, however I was not afraid to give birth. I was mentally prepared and knew I had the support of Ana and my husband to voice my wants for my birth.

Ana has been a phone call or text away for any needs or concerns that I’ve had along this journey. She has also provided educational resources for my husband and I on any topic that we’ve needed extra information on.

As a lactation consultant, Ana has helped me to be successful exclusively breastfeeding; something I did not accomplish with my two previous daughters. She has continuously provided me with support and education as my breastfeeding journey evolves.

Ana will always have a place in my heart for what she has done for me and my family

If you are pregnant and are having a natural home, birth center or hospital birth you NEED Ana. She is amazing!! She helped me prepare myself for the birth of my last child. I took the birth center route and it was incredible! Ana was ready to answer my question, answer question I didn’t even know I should ask, and help prepare my body for the marathon it was about to encounter. I am so blessed you were with me during this journey Ana! You are incredible!

Ana made my first pregnancy experience amazing. My birth plan didn’t go the way I wanted it to due to obstacles but she still helped me navigate through any last minute changes that needed to be made so I still made the decisions I was comfortable with. She is very knowledgeable and helped with any resources I needed. Ana has been there every step of the way with my pregnancy and now postpartum, with breast-feeding

Ana has been amazing and so supportive all throughout my pregnancy and even after. She is so knowledgeable in both birth and lactation consulting. She’s always just a text or call away. My favorite thing about her is how passionate she is about what she does! She’s easy to trust and will advocate for your every need when you can’t. Highly recommend her services. You will gain an amazing friendship while she equips you with the knowledge for all things pregnancy and baby!

After having a somewhat traumatic
birth with my first born which was an induction turned to emergency c section at 39 weeks, and suffering with post-partum depression, I was determined that this second birth would not be the same, and that I would get my VBAC. I did my own research, but after reading a review on Ana, I decided to contact her. I found her late in my pregnancy at 32 weeks. However, Ana gave me more insight on informed consent, and because of her support, I was able to muster the courage to deny cervical checks that the doctor wanted to start at 37 weeks. It is a struggle as well as anxiety inducing when a doctor gives you push back, but Ana supported me the whole way. She also acted very professional in an instance where the doctor was not so nice during my labor. But, fast forward to when I began laboring, Ana was at the hospital on time and ready to go. She has a very helpful, calming, and supportive presence. She helped me focus my energy to have the birth I always wished for. She also guided my husband on how to support me during each contraction, which was absolutely the best. I got an epidural at 8.5 cm, and shortly after, gave birth to my son. I couldn’t believe how easy this experience was compared to my first as well as how fast. She was a huge part in my VBAC birth. Ana also provided my with much needed lactation support even after my baby was born. I gave up way too soon with breastfeeding my first born because I had no idea what I was doing and had no support. I have been providing this baby with breast milk since the day he arrived all thanks to her help. I cannot recommend her enough. I’m not sure I could have done it without her. My birth experience was such a bliss and felt empowered through it all!

Being a first time mother, there was a lot I wasn’t sure about. One thing I did know is that I wanted to breastfeed. Even though I know I wanted this, I had no idea where to start.

Ana was there for me every step of the way. She goes out of her way to meet with you before baby arrives to listen to your personal goals and educating you on the benefits of breastfeeding. Exclusively BF is a full time job and I felt like I had my own personal assistant helping me along the way 🤍 we couldn’t have done this without her!

I reached out to Ana one week postpartum and she called me right away and started discussing a timeline for my breastfeeding journey. We discussed when I would start pumping and freezing milk in preparation for my return to work. We also discussed when to introduce a bottle, pace feeding, and the type of pump I would be using. She sent me a pumping schedule including pump settings to use and a visual on flanges and appropriate fit. Since then, she’s been available and has answered all my questions and even alleviated my first time mom concerns when my daughter was choking up on my breast milk that first week. Then she gave me suggestions on how to help my daughter take the bottle when she started refusing my frozen milk. I am fortunate to have her as resource on what is an intimidating journey!

When I first found Ana I was very hopeful that I would be successful breastfeeding this time as I was not able to do so with my first daughter. Little did I know how helpful and supportive she would end up being for our breastfeeding journey!
My daughter was born right at 40 weeks but due to complications during birth she was admitted to the NICU and we were there for 8 days. During that time Ana stayed in constant contact to help me navigate breastfeeding while my baby was in the hospital. Either day or night she was always available to answer questions or offer guidance. When we finally got to leave the NICU, Ana was able to see me in the comfort of my own home which greatly reduced mine and my daughters stress. Fast forward 43 days and we are still going strong! Thank you Ana!

Definitely recommended Ana! First time mom unsure if my baby was latching correctly or eating enough, she helped with that. She answered all my questions and gave me some ease.
